Santa cruz- Llanganuco Trek 4D / 3N

We will walk on the valley until we reach our camp of Taullipampa 4250 masl. During the walk we will observe the snowy Caraz, Pumapampa, the twin peaks of the Quitaraju mountains and the famous Alpamayo. We will walk through two lagoons, first the smallest Ichic cocha special habitat of birds and aquatic flora; and then the biggest Jatuncocha that means big lagoon. The camp is surrounded by immense mountains such as Pariah, Artesonraju, Jancarurish, Pucahirca, Rinrijirca, Millishraju, snowy spire, Garcilaso Pyramid, Santa Cruz, Quitaraju and Alpamayo.
Our second camp is Taullipampa, where we will spend the night under the gaze of the imposing Taulliraju, which awaits us to see it closer the next day from the Punta Union pass to 4750msnm.
Approximately 6 to 7 hours of walking.

We will walk for a period of 2½ on a road affirmed towards the passage of Punta Unión 4750msnm., Where the gorges of Santa Cruz and Huaripampa are splendid, describing where we come from and where we will walk, as well as the earlier snowfall closer and closer and more impressive. Once a few moments in height, we began to descend again on a rocky road through two small lagoons along the Huaripampa creek. We take lunch in the area of Paria under the snow of the same name. And finally we continue until the third camp Pariah 3900msnm., From where you still have a view of the impressive snowy Taulliraju, the Rinrijircas, Pucahircas, Quitaraju, the Santa Cruz, Artesonraju, Garcilazo Pyramid, Paria, Millishraju, etc. Walk Approximately 6 to 7 hours.

After breakfast we begin again to descend on a rocky road passing by the river through the Huaripampa creek. We will have lunch. We will continue with our walk, we will go down to the valley through villages like Yurma, Huaripampa, until we reach the village of Colcabamba, spectacular view of the Chacraraju. On the way we will find many children from the region. We will continue with our walk to the dairy approximately 4 hours of walking.
We leave by bus until the next step, Portachuelo de Llanganuco, from where you will observe the most important mountains of the Cordillera Blanca: Huascarán 6789 m.a.s.l. this is the highest peak in Peru, the four peaks of Huandoy, the king of the white mountain range ; Chopicalqui, Chacraraju, Yanapaccha, Pisco and the beautiful Llanganuco lagoons (Chinancocha and Orconcocha); Return to the city of Huaraz.
