Barranco Bites Tour
We start in a very old school restaurant tasting 3 modern versions of the delicious classic Causa Limeña.
After refreshing our palate with a freezing glass bottle of Inca kola, we'll admire and discuss the street art on the way to our next food stop
in a sea front restaurant.
If the weather favor us, we'll watch the sunset over the sea before heading to a local artist workshop, have a walk over the cliffs and stop for a healthy, hot beverage made with superfoods from all over Peru.
The second main course is decided by your guide on the day but we always end with a delicious dessert and a small glass of the craft beer you prefer.
7 stops menu:
1) Causa (3 versions of it, a base of tempered smash potatoes coroned with
2) Grilled octopus, mussels in passion fruit sauce and tuna fish)
3) Inca Kola (the most traditional Peruvian cola)
4) Anticuchos grilled cow heart in sticks, with the 3 most representative Peruvian sauces (huancaina,ocopa and crema de rocoto)
5) Emoliente especial (the healthier tee you'll ever drink, made of 21 different fruits, herbs and superfoods)
6) One of the following three options:
(your guide will decide on the day depending on the number of participants)
7) Seco de Cordero a la norteña (lamb stew from the north of Peru).
or Kai ten a la plancha 6 different kinds of meat and seafood grilled on stone in the best Chifa (Peruvian-Chinese restaurant) in the area.
or Chicharrón de chancho en butifarra (Deep fried marinated pork serve in a big sandwich with freshly baked bread, sweet potatoes and a classic Limean spicy onion salad (salsa criolla) plus the sauces of your choice).
Dessert:
Passion fruit cake or Lucuma pye and Craft beer at a local brewery.
