Querococha Lagoon
The Querococha lagoon is a body of water of glacial origin located in the Cordillera Blanca in the Ancash region in Peru, has a dark green color and is surrounded by queñuales. It is located 57 kilometers southwest of the city of Huaraz, at an altitude of 3972 meters above sea level.
On the way to ChavÃn de Huantar (Ãncash) along the route that we started from Huáraz, it is located between the majestic andes and majestic snowfalls, a lagoon that demonstrates that this department is much more than the Peruvian Switzerland, and that, in reality, there is no comparison . The Querococha lagoon shines, without a doubt, for its waters and for the Andean environment that stands out in charm. We invite you to visit this Ancashino paradise located 57 kilometers southeast of Huaraz (towards ChavÃn).
